Emily showed compassion, empathy, and a high level of professionalism at all times during my mom’s stay. It was so nice to know my mom was in such capable hands. I felt like I could go home and know that even the smallest details would be taken care of, ensuring my mom was calm, comfortable, and receiving the best care. Even during times of high patient activity Emily made sure my mom received prompt attention and care. I observed this same level of care with each patient she was attending to. Her kind demeanor, thorough explanations, and compassion were so very welcome. Now and again you come across an individual that was called to their profession. I truly believe Emily is one of those people. She is an asset to this hospital and my family, and I am so appreciative. During these past nine days, it has been awesome to watch the teamwork of nurses and aides as they care for the patients. I have observed Emily teaching through words and actions how to care, comfort, and attend to medical needs no matter how busy the floor was. Clone this one!
