Emily Grossman, RN

I am a 32yr. old wife and mother of two fighting for the victory against Acute Myeloid Leukemia in Jesus' name. Emily recently came into my room to see how I was doing, noticing my Minnie Mouse iPad case, and we formed a connection based on our shared fondness for Minnie Mouse. Within minutes of our connection, Emily drew a beautiful replica of Cinderella's Castle on my whiteboard to "bring me magic into the room." I also told her it was my dream to bring my children to Disney World here in Orlando once I had finished treatment. This gesture meant a great deal to me because I now have a visual reminder that dreams can come true.
