Emily is always willing to help and brings a great asset to the team, very knowledgeable and always willing to go the extra mile. She gives her all to the patients that she serves. Emily finds time to provide her patients with a TLC that goes beyond her normal job duties. There are many instances in which she does this, but one that sticks out is a teen patient who had difficulties adjusting to the hospital stay and the recent death of a parent and many dynamics in the family changing. Emily made time to go with him on leisure walks and bond with him during this difficult time in his life, requiring nothing of him but providing so much s listening ear, fresh air, and a break from inside the four walls and he so looked forward to these times. Bringing some sunshine to this very difficult time in his life.
