Emily Janokowicz, RN

Emily Janokowicz floated to PICU to take care of my daughter, and not only did she do a great job of clustering care, but she also minimized waking her. She answered all of my questions, and when we were transferred to PEDS the next day, even though she did not have us as a patient, she checked on us and followed up. When V had AM labs, Emily took time and came to help get the labs off of her PIC, saving a painful stick by phlebotomy. We are grateful for Emily's teamwork and positive attitude, as well as her excellence even when she was in a different unit, and for her to follow up, a commitment to making V's stay as pleasant as possible and reducing her pain.
