Emily helped a visitor of one of our patients who came into the unit soaking wet. The visitor who was dropping off the patient for his procedure has 2 dogs, and the visitor/friend had walked the patient's 2 dogs in the rain prior to their arrival at Med Center East. The visitor was so wet and visibly cold, Emily kindly got her a scrub top to wear and warm blankets to ease her discomfort and chill. The visitor was so appreciative, and I thought that was so kind and nice, and helpful of Emily to do this gesture. It was a small gesture that went a large way!
