Our experience with Emily was a blessing! We believe God placed her to be our son's nurse the night we found out our dear son had cancer. After doctors shared the news, she came in and got down on her knees and placed her hand on my shoulder, and just made sure my husband and I were okay, and she would do anything we needed. The biggest blessing, we believe came with her and my son. He just seemed to take to her. She interacted with him, made him smile, and helped him so much not to be scared. You could tell she really did care about him. He still talks about her and says she was the nicest nurse ever. He misses her talking to him. We can't thank her enough for her kindness during that difficult time. He will never forget her!
