... With my procedure on Tuesday a total success I felt for sure we would be going home by the weekend. But then Saturday came and after a rough morning, Emily informed me that I wasn't going anywhere fast.

Emily recognized quickly that this was a really low time for me and with great compassion and empathy, she spent as much time as possible with me lifting my spirits and helping me understand what I needed to do over the next few days, always showing me encouragement of what I perceived as a very difficult situation. She always led with "tell me what I can do to make you feel better"!
