Emily was recognized by a co-worker for being an uplifting presence in her patients' rooms and making their stay as pleasant as possible. When one of her patients didn't have clothes or shoes to wear, Emily brought in two bags of unneeded clothes for her. In Emily's nomination, her co-worker stated that working with professionals like Emily who always strive for the best for their patients is one of the reasons she is proud to work for UPMC Pinnacle.
