Emily Matherly, RN

 A patient presented with their newborn for repeat testing that was ordered by their pediatrician. The infant was premature and was on a special higher calorie formula. During their visit the parents were visibly distraught about not having formula to feed their baby. Emily along with an OB TECH went into action. They immediately began looking at Walmart, Target and other local stores to find out which one carried the special formula. Once it was found, Emily and OB TECH combined money to help the family purchase the needed formula. The family was so relieved and appreciative of the gift and the staff’s willingness to help them in their time of need. Emily is constantly living our mission and caring for patients above and beyond her job role.
