Emily went above and beyond what is expected for a nurse. She is an outstanding nurse and member of WellStar. She is a model employee. She was so wonderful that we wished that she was our nurse the entire stay. The whole day she would do everything and anything for both patient and family. At one point my sister was having some very sensitive issue with her health, so she was having a panic attack and could not calm down. As her sister, I could not help her calm down. It was the end of Emily's shift for the day, and she could have easily pushed it off on the night nurse. But instead, Emily was off the clock and came and sat down with us and spoke with her for two hours just to calm her down and get what needed to be done taken care of. I have never met such an amazing employee in any type of facility like her before or had an experience even close to this. Words can't explain how thankful we are to have met her. We will always remember what Emily did for us for the rest of our lives. If we could make an award especially for Emily we would. We loved Emily!
