A former stroke patient walked to St. Francis Hospital (unable to drive yet) to bring flowers to Emily and thank her in person for the exceptional care she provided. The patient described Emily as an exceptional nurse who showed him she cared about him and his progress. He stated all of the nurses were kind and helpful, but Emily was outstanding. He is unable to drive, but walked several blocks from his house to the florist and then to SFH to deliver the flowers in person.
