Emily Nino, BSN, RN

My niece was life-flighted to Pensacola Sacred Heart, she was intubated and on dialysis with multi-organ failure. Amazing care was given in the ICU. Once she was moved to 4W she was often a nursing challenge. She had an amazing nurse named Emily. She was always so kind and her eyes showed concern and compassion. She always took the time to listen to the concerns of the patient and the family. This floor is overly tasked and understaffed. Emily always brightened the room. She was amazingly organized, planning ahead and not running in and out. But she always followed through with our needs. She explained everything that she did with great patience. It was hard to believe she was only there for 2 weeks. She has made a challenging time in our lives much easier to get through. I hope she will always be this kind and will know how much this family appreciated her. She emptied the trash and linen herself when needed!! P.S. I am a nurse too!
