Emily, you truly amaze me. Thank you for everything over the last 17 weeks. Emily is a stellar nurse who fits all the values and criteria of a DAISY Nurse. Professionalism- She knows her stuff. Emily was able to teach me about chemo care in minutes. Knows her med's side effects. Has a bedside manner that exceeds the average nurse. Integrity- Courageous- speaks up for the patient and is truly such a great amazing patient advocate. Family- Due to COVID I had no visitors but that did not stop Emily from knowing all about my 3 kids and husband. She remembered their names and asked about them every single time. She showed me love and compassion with everything she did. Compassion- Compassion seeps from Emily's pores. If she can't "help or fix" the problem she finds the person and even goes the next step and puts me in contact with helpful people. I felt love and cared for truly the moment Emily was my nurse.
