Emily has worked as a nurse within the health system for 20+ years. She is known and loved by providers and patients in the Glen Cove area. Emily is a team player always willing to help out anyone in order to provide the best outcomes for her patients. She is kind, compassionate, responsible, and always eager to learn and improve. Emily is always willing to help call and check in on my patients for me when I am too busy with clinical work during the day. She loves to help teach her patients anything from wound care to nutrition. Emily is invaluable to our practice, we would not be able to give our patients the best care without her. She is timely with her hospital discharges and always calls patients to make sure they have everything they need at home to prevent rehospitalization. Similarly, Emily has called patients from home on numerous occasions to check on patients even when she does not have EHR access at home just to make sure they are okay. There is no one example I can provide as Emily goes above and beyond every time she comes to work. She is an asset to her colleagues and her patients.
