Emily continued to help me with my personal stuff. Everything I asked her for, I got.
I was on my way to work (at age 69 ½) and my throat was in so much pain. I stopped in at Grandview. I was admitted by a very quiet smile, and she knew I didn’t want to be in the hospital. She came, helped me undress, and took my vitals. Emily was quiet, and she was smiling. I thought she was just doing her job. She continued to help me with my personal stuff. Everything I asked her for, I got. I was admitted. I just laid back and I felt I didn’t have to worry about anything. When I got upstairs I didn’t have my shirt and keys. No one knew what happened to my personal items. I just said why would my items be taken out of the ER? I really became depressed. I laid in my room for about three hours. A pretty, smiling nurse finished her shift then picked up my bag and came to my room. She cared.
