My mother often praises Emily's gentleness, especially given her fragile condition, and says she can rest easier knowing that Emily is the one caring for her.
Trials and tribulations. That is what our lives have been like over the past year. My 59-year-old mother suffers from multiple debilitating illnesses, the most significant being metastatic breast cancer. After spending nearly four months in and out of the hospital, I have come to truly appreciate the profound impact a dedicated nurse can have.
Unfortunately, there have been times when I have had to struggle with other nurses to ensure my mother received the level of care she deserves. The difference a truly exceptional nurse makes is night and day. Emily is one of those exceptional nurses.
She is kind, considerate, and above all, genuinely caring. She remains patient with my mother at all times, taking great care to be gentle when administering her chemotherapy medications. Emily consistently takes the time to ask how my mother is feeling and to understand her needs. Her presence is comforting, almost like having a compassionate sister by my mother's side.
My mother often praises Emily's gentleness, especially given her fragile condition, and says she can rest easier knowing that Emily is the one caring for her.
Emily goes above and beyond in her role, and we are truly grateful that she chose to be a nurse. We hope she continues to support other families through their most difficult moments just as she has supported ours.
Thank you, Emily, for your diligent and compassionate care.
