Emily Roy has demonstrated nothing but her integrity and kindness towards her students and colleagues. She is a positive role model for everyone around her as she demonstrates therapeutic care and communication with her clients and peers. She challenges students to the best of their abilities and has a way of establishing confidence in them. I have heard from almost every student that they have developed a trusting relationship with Emily, and watching her interact with her coworkers, it is clear that she is well respected and trusted. Her presence brightens every room she walks into, and I have personally seen the impact she has made on numerous patients. Her positive attitude, knowledge, and ability to teach back are reflected in her students' growth and patient outcomes. Having the opportunity to work with Emily has been extremely transformative, and I would be pleased to become half of the nurse that she is.
