The hospital is one of the last places you want to be on your birthday, but that's exactly where the patient who recognized Emily Rubin was last year. Thanksto Emily, the patient's special day started off with a smile.
"Emily surprised me by rounding up a handful of coworkers and singing 'Happy Birthday' to me before she left work that morning. It was absolutely heart-warming."
The same patient was recently admitted to J5 again and was pleased that Emily was there to care for her.
