From the day I met her, I could just tell she had such a big heart for people. She is a great co-worker and an amazing nurse! She is always willing and never hesitates to help a member of our team, whether she is asked to or not. She always has such a positive attitude and perspective paired with such a gentle and calming approach no matter the situation. There is no doubt that she is living her true calling here as a Labor and Delivery nurse. She pours her love and compassion into each patient and family she cares for. She truly is a prime example of being the hands and feet of Jesus as she lives out every aspect of our mission statement! She is always so humble and would never take credit for her hard work, but I can assure you it doesn’t go unnoticed. The hard work, support, encouragement, love, and friendship she pours into those around her deserves all the praise one could give. I wanted to share this about her because I believe in giving credit where credit is due! I can’t begin to say what an asset she is to this unit and how thankful I am to have a co-worker and friend as amazing as Emily!
