My husband was in the SICU due to injuries he had from a car accident. He is extremely anxious and agitated very quickly in medical settings and situations. Emily was able to keep him calm and comfortable just as I would. I felt comfortable with him in her care, and more importantly, he felt safe with her. She took the time to listen to his concerns and learn how to get through to him. She not only took care of him, but she also took care of me by giving me time alone to eat or taking me for a walk when I was upset. She is an exceptional person.
