Emily is a fantastic RN in the Emergency Department. Her nomination form included a detailed story a colleague witnessed of how Emily interacted with an elderly, upset patient and family. Emily sat with the patient and family members and calmly and thoroughly explained each aspect of care, even though this patient was not assigned to her. The family was so appreciative for all that Emily had done. Emily consistently demonstrates this care and compassion not only to all patients but to her co-workers and community. She is a true asset to this organization and we are pleased to have her on our team.
