Emily Schroeder, RN

I think that Emily is special because she is so empathetic. Emily understood how sad I was to be in the hospital when my young adult children were home for the holiday season and how much I missed being with them and seeing them. Emily took the time to make sure I felt cared for. Over my three-day stay, she helped me get cleaned up and offered me a clean gown. She spoke with me about why I was hospitalized and what the doctors told me regarding next steps. Emily shared with me what my options were, so I felt that I had some control over my hospital stay. Nurses should be caring. Emily took the time to make sure that I felt cared for. She made me feel comfortable, and she helped me find peace in the present moment. I am grateful for the honest and intelligent answers Emily gave me to my questions and for the care that she exhibited when she was my nurse. Emily is smart, hardworking, motivated, and compassionate. She is an excellent nurse, an extraordinary nurse, really! Thank you, Emily!
