Emily relocated her family from Wisconsin to Illinois to pursue this role—an early reflection of her dedication to nursing education. Her background in inpatient stem cell transplant and her Master’s in Nursing Education (2023) have equipped her to educate with both authority and empathy.

o Joined the oncology department in September 2025 and immediately implemented annual competencies for more than 30 staff members.
o Relocated her family to Illinois specifically for this role, demonstrating commitment to advancing nursing practice.

o Maintained exceptional professionalism and empathy while navigating a significant medical situation involving her father-in-law.
