She was my nurse during my induction. I was very nervous due to the fact I had just gone into a routine 39-week appointment and was told I was being emergency induced for my high blood pressure and pre-e diagnosis. She was extremely tentative and so sweet during the whole process. During my epidural, she was so kind and helped talk me through the situation. She also held me during the epidural, and I felt very comfortable and safe with her. My birth did end up going rough (code purple due to shoulder dystocia). She talked me through the whole thing and helped me relax during this scary time. She stayed until the end of my birth and my daughter to be stable (after her shift ended) and made sure to tell me congratulations and that she was proud of me. I couldn’t have done this birth without her.
