My first run in with this nurse was that morning after my c-section. I was exhausted, barely keeping my eyes open all while trying to bond with my new baby girl. She was an absolute angel from the beginning her smiling face, calm tone of voice, knowledge of birth and breastfeeding, and kept my mind off any discomfort by telling me about her and her baby who is just a couple months older than H. I mostly remember her for her kindness, helping me latch my baby every 2 hours since I was numb from my c-section to make sure my room was the perfect temperature from my post-partum hormones. She even went above and beyond for my husband who was learning the ins and outs of being a new dad!!! I am taking the time to fill out this award because I want to honor her for her compassion, kindness, and her overall exceptional care she provides to her patients on a daily basis. Thank you for making this first-time mama a little less stressed!!
