When Mum passed away, she was there with open arms to comfort us in any way we needed.
Emily was my mother's admitting nurse and sat with me and other family members to answer our endless questions. She never seemed frustrated or annoyed and patiently answered all of our concerns. Last week, Mum was made palliative. Emily was her primary nurse most mornings and would talk to Mum and explain everything she was doing even though Mum was unresponsive. Emily made sure our needs were met during this difficult time, and when Mum passed away, she was there with open arms to comfort us in any way we needed. She stayed with me until family arrived, saying she didn't want me to be alone. Emily made a very difficult time just that little bit easier. Thank you.
