Emma also was nominated by an employee who wrote "Emma Dougherty is amazing. She is such a team player and always has been. She works incredibly hard when she's here, floats wherever she is asked to and is so conscientious. She is a great educator and role model for young nurses. In the 16 years that I have known her, I have never seen her be anything other than completely professional. What an asset to Cushing and the ICU. She is always last on my list to call for night shift coverage because I know she will normally say yes and don't want her to get burned out. Today, once again, she is going to come in to cover a call-in on nights. She was my 7th phone call. Kudos to Emma --- Such an amazing nurse."
