the love and warmth Emma radiated at this heartbroken time will truly never be forgotten
Emma Down called to update us on our critically-ill adored Dad, then asked us to come in. Emma and her team allowed us to be with our Dad, albeit in full PPE, but the kindness and compassion shown to us were totally on another level.
Emma was there after his breathing devices were removed and sat with me and my Dad as he passed away so I wasn't alone in that room. She felt like a member of my family and the love and warmth Emma radiated at this heartbroken time will truly never be forgotten. I told her if I had all the money in the world I could never thank her for such a truly heartbreaking but beautiful peaceful moment for my Dad. All of this in a very uncertain catastrophic time.
I have disabled children and I liaise with many professionals, but Emma and her wonderful team truly deserve true recognition and thanks for how they treated both my amazing, one-in-a-billion Dad and us.
As we follow the devastating journey of grief we have that experience to reflect and draw a great sense of peace, strength, and knowledge that my Dad wasn't alone.
Thank you Emma so very, very much.
