My 53-year-old husband was a patient in the ICU for a brain bleed due to high blood pressure. Emma was our day nurse for three days. What makes Emma stand out is her kindness. We had some rough times trying to get the blood pressure stabilized and sodium levels up. We also have a large family, so there were lots of people coming and going all day. Emma handled it all with grace. She was very patient with our questions and also let us put the phone on speaker to update other family members. She also took exemplary care of my husband - so gentle, explaining everything to him that was happening. Being in the ICU is a tough experience, but Emma brought us all joy with her smiles, kind nature, and strong desire to help us. The world would be a better place with more nurses as incredible as Emma! We are deeply grateful!
