Emma Farley, RN, BSN

During the last week, I’ve been sitting next to my 9-year-old son and I’ve not been sleeping or eating. Just worried sick. Emma was amazing, she made me feel safe enough to take a break and run home to see my other children for a moment. Prior to that, I had been here 5 days straight and barely even left the chair next to his bed. She treated my son with care and dignity and helped me voice my concerns to the doctors. She advocated for my son the entire time. She took away the stress by helping to do his laundry, talking to him, and washing his fears and anxiety. She never made me feel bad for asking questions. Emma is such an amazing nurse, and I couldn’t have gotten through any of this without her.
