Emma Garstang, RN

Emma delivered very high care to one of the patients who was in End of Life in 5B. Emma supported the family through their loved one's journey by making sure they have facilities during staying in 5B such as a place to sleep and she listened to their concerns. She was constantly in her side room almost every hour making sure the patient and family were all right. Everyone would love to have such compassionate and empathetic care delivered, especially in their last moment of life. I have learned how important it is to include family and listen to their voice no matter how little or bigger they are.
