My son S spent 107 days in the PICU, and Emma’s support was invaluable. During the first 60 days, the scariest of my life, she constantly checked on us, whether or not S was her patient. When he was, she made him comfortable, gave him warm baths, styled his hair, and tuned into his needs. Emma shared in our joys and sorrows, and her care made a huge difference. We’ll always remember her and consider her part of our family.
