Emma McGrady, RN
Emma has been a nurse in this department since she graduated from Wallace. She has made a seamless transition from tech to nurse and has handled the responsibilities of a new graduate nurse with incredible poise. For example, in a very serious situation with a patient of mine when she had been out of school for maybe 6 months, she stepped in and helped me in every way that she could. I was in awe of how she handled herself that day and how she was able to answer the call when I needed her. She not only helped me with that patient, but she also kept a check on my other patients when I was unable to leave the room. You would never know she has not been a nurse for 10 years by just watching her work. She is an excellent example of a team player and deserves all of the recognition in the world.
