My son came in for vomiting and diarrhea and ended up with a brain infection. He was very seriously ill. The doctors gave us no hope, but Nurse Emma wouldn't let me give up hope. She was so kind, caring, and understanding. She saw me crying one evening after her shift in the waiting room, and she stopped, talked to me, and sat with me until I was okay. That was so special to me because she put in a long day but still cared enough to sit with me on her own time. Thank you, Emma, for being a wonderful nurse.
