Her commitment to holistic healing was especially evident during a clinical experience on the cardiac floor, where she recognized a patient’s spiritual distress and created space for him to share his thoughts and receive prayer, an act that brought him peace in a difficult moment.

Emma has a deep understanding of the importance of viewing each patient as someone created in the image of God. Emma beautifully stated in one of her reflections, “Every person has been created by God and deserves to receive good care,” a belief that guides her interactions and ensures her care is grounded in respect and dignity.
