Emma is very professional in her role but is able to give you the support you need and explain everything and anything you need/want to know.
When my son was admitted to D34, I felt very alone, he was vocally loud, shouting and crying as he was scared and had never been in a hospital environment prior to him breaking his femur.
Giving birth 3 weeks earlier and a big family bereavement made me feel lost!
I put up a wall and I was emotionally and physically drained.
A few days in and we met Emma! Helping me assist C with personal care she was the first nurse C began to trust. Within a short amount of time, he decided to admit he liked her.

23 days later I have a happy, half-healed boy, a thriving baby, and a very stress-free head, the wall dropped and smiles all round.
Emma is very caring and knowledgeable, a real credit to the nursing team at D34. I will not forget the support she gave and I hope she knows how appreciated she is.
