I already decided to recognized Ms. Emma Weisel about 2 weeks ago simply based on the foundation of her impressive nursing skills and her impeccable bedside manner and how she always had the ability to make me feel a little less sad when I was overwhelmed. But yesterday my fever kept reoccurring and heart rate racing to a concerning level, and she cared so much about my well-being that she contacted ICU and several doctors to come immediately to reevaluate my status just in case. This wasn't something she was ordered to do, she did it out of pure love for her patients and it was undeniably obvious. I wasn't scared when all the medical personal came in, I was genuinely moved. And I'll never forget her kindness and effective and efficient ability to do her job. She even appeared in the room before I ever had a chance to call for her, LOL!
