Resident Physicians decided they were going to discharge my grandmother. Nurse Emmy as well as my grandmother's family did not agree it was safe to send her home with a BP of 209/97. Nurse Emmy went above and beyond to get us to talk to the correct people. After a 2nd review from an "on-call" Physician, it was decided she needed to stay again with new BP medications. Which is what V needed to get back to feeling good. If Nurse Emmy didn't do all she did we don't think the outcome would have been good. Nurse Emmy was amazing all day and very patient and caring for my grandmother. You can tell Nurse Emmy cares deeply for her patients and stayed over her time for 2 hours to make sure my grandmother was ok and taken care of. Also, she made sure the next shift knew all that took place on the day shift. Thank you.
