April 2010 Honoree
emmy lynn coronel, RN, BSN
Emmylynn Coronel is a trooper. She was held in a room by a psychotic patient with a knife, and was able to text for help on her phone, without the patient knowing it. She has to listen to patients and families tell her she is too "young" or too "small" to be a nurse. She does all of this while smiling. She always has a pleasant attitude, and a kind word to say. She has a wonderful personality and sense of humor, and the patients and families love her.
