Emmy is very bright and kind to everyone! She is always offering to help her classmates if they are having a hard time with a skill or on assignments. She was the first person I was paired with for a skill check off and she was very kind and helpful. I used to have anxiety getting in front of people, asking questions or having people watch me perform skills but she encouraged me, by reminding me that many other people are nervous as well, to just relax, and do the best I can. Emmy is a clear leader among her peers, when they look to someone for direction, Emmy is the one they turn to.  When faced with obstacles, Emmy dives in head-first with her own plan, displaying consistent and professional communication.  Emmy's education is so important to her that she coordinated with the Interim Director of Nursing and the Clinical Coordinator to ensure that she was able to continue her schooling while on orders that took her far away from campus. Emmy bent over backwards to make her education a priority. I see this as something she will obviously do for her patients and others. I am so proud that I am able to advise Emmy and to have her as a part of the Purdue Global family- she has a bright and successful future ahead of her!
