Emmy Schroeder-Asante, BSN

Emmy was nominated several times by the faculty for clinical excellence. The fact that she was nominated several times demonstrates that she has been an excellent student going above and beyond in multiple clinical rotations. Emmy exhibited some great attributes of a nurse, including caring, excellence, integrity, and respect, making her a great candidate for The DAISY Award. She showed these attributes during a mission trip to Ghana over the Fall break of 2022, where she demonstrated compassion and integrity in intervening in a case of sexual abuse. Emelia deserves the DAISY Awarsd for all the things shared above and her eagerness and love to give back to society as a nurse.
