Throughout my stay at Northside Forsyth, I had experienced some pretty life-changing events. I was diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis. A disease that is not well known and after several years and failed attempts to seek answers, I ended up having surgery here at Northside Forsyth. I had major surgery and was suffering from severe pain and my overall morale was low. It was single-handedly the hardest thing I have gone through physically, mentally, and emotionally.

However, from the moment I was transferred to my room and Eoin walked in, I felt an immediate sigh of relief. Eoin never failed to make me comfortable or like a burden, and is the gold standard when it comes to what a nurse should be. He was so kind and gentle and was able to give me care while also seeing me as a person. We were able to connect in a way that was so special and made such an impact on me.

His skills and ability to be such a great individual in combination with being a wonderful nurse is exceptional. We had a long conversation and discussed my concerns. He allowed me to speak on my concerns and that in itself was healing. He goes above and beyond to provide friendship, healthcare, and reassurance that has made such a significant impact on me.

It is hard to feel seen as a woman and he never fell short of assessing my needs. Whether it came to medications, the temperature of my room, helping me go to the bathroom, or even just getting me ice cream. He is all around a respectable employee and I wish him the best. Thank you so much for allowing me to feel seen, feel human and most of all feel safe in the hands of your care while I was at my worst.
