J had received great care the full 8 days he was in ICU. All of the "teams" displayed communication to my wife. They not only cared for me but also talked with her explaining the next steps. Eric Cathey was on the ICU floor most of the days J was in ICU. He would always lend a hand. J's last day Eric was J's assigned nurse. Eric went above and beyond by reassuring J that he was in a safe place, walking the halls with him; providing a quiet time for J to nap.
