Assisting a physician, care for a patient needing surgical treatment at the bedside seemed to be a piece of cake for Eric. Before the physician returned to perform an incision, Eric had already gathered the appropriate medical supplies, and was ready to help. "Eric's expertise of the Emergency Department, knowledge of wounds, knowledge of medical supply location and overall teamwork facilitated this patient's care," his nominator stated.
