It can be a very scary experience when a loved one such as your mother has to undergo brain surgery. This is a second brain operation she's had to have in the past seven months. Saying that I was a nervous wreck is an understatement!! Even after I knew she made it through the operation okay, I was anxious of the effects the anesthesia would have on her, I worried how much pain she would be in, and if she would be nauseous.
I had all of the worry and terrible thoughts that go through your head... When my mother has surgery I always try to stay with her but I was unable to get the following day off of work. I was also watching my one-year-old nephew because my sister had to work. So with a very heavy heart and anxious dread, I left to head home.
I was constantly checking in on her with my dad so I know how sick she was after surgery.
I cannot express the feeling of peace that went through me when my momma told me about the exceptional care that Eric had provided to her.
He sat in the room with her, talking to her, and trying to ease her mind and fears. He worked tirelessly to help control her pain and nausea. Anybody who knows my mom knows just how bad she HATES to take pain meds.
She went on and on about this nurse and how he found just the right pain method and treatment for her. She shared how patient he was with her, and how he provided her peace of mind. My momma knew he had other patients, but Eric made her feel like she was his only priority. She felt safe. He provided her with a kind face, a warm heart, and a safe and comfortable environment. Knowing that my momma received this level of outstanding care is the best feeling. I did not have to worry about her while I was at work because I knew that she was in good hands. This means the world to me!!
In her exact words, "He was a Godsend to me."
Eric is a valuable asset to your team here. His level of care is unparalleled.
Thank you so much, Eric Hendricks, for taking exceptional care of my momma from the bottom of my heart. You truly have a gem in Eric. He is a diamond in all the chaos.
Thank you, Eric Hendricks, for making a difference!
