Eric is a nurse with the Surgical Services department at Bladen County Hospital. Eric has been a nurse for many years and it shows through his work and skills. Eric is definitely a people person and can put a patient's mind at ease from their first encounter. Eric uses his great sense of humor to relax a patient and often times makes them forget their fears through laughter. He has great nursing skills and a way with patients like no other.

He is also a discharge planner with Bladen, working with the staff at Cape Fear Valley Hospital to ensure the best care of all patients in our area. Eric never meets a stranger. He serves on the patient experience committee. He is willing to go to any department in the hospital and lend a hand and on several occasions worked several different departments in one day's shift.

He is what nursing is all about. Always putting the patient first. He is a crucial team player and is very deserving of some recognition. I believe Eric is the definition of going the extra mile for his patients and co-workers.
