Quality, Integrity, Teamwork, and Compassionate Care!
Hard to begin. Jul is an exemplary Nurse. He took care of my 3-month-old, A, after heart surgery. He was extremely attentive on BOTH the medical part and the comfort/human aspect. I was sensitive after my first baby had to have surgery, but the way he cared for A made me feel better because I knew Jul would do everything he could to make A feel better.
He was HANDS-ON. He changed diapers, changed A's position, played with A, checked in often, and overall gave us excellent service. A smiled for the first time while Jul was caring for him. This is true QUALITY.
Jul was also professional and set appropriate limits. When I asked about his other patient he said "sorry, I cannot say to protect privacy". When I asked if my mom could visit A, he explained nicely that the COVID policy did not allow it. This shows his INTEGRITY.
Please, I cannot stress enough how much of a positive difference he made and how much he deserves this award. He even left A in perfect status so the next Nurse had an easier shift. This shows Teamwork. He is a person who values his job and goes above and beyond. WE LOVE JUL!
