Although a nurse for less than 2 years, Eric is well known for his compassion and energy to help others. He's always courteous and respectful and is highly respected by his peers. He is appreciated by his patients and families because of the way he treats others. Eric is the most recognized team member on leadership rounds.
Physical therapy was unable to work with a patient one day, and Eric offered to walk with him whenever the patient was ready. The patient and family members said that Eric made them feel like they were the only patient he had that day.
Eric quickly recognized that a patient was having a stroke following a procedure, and he activated the rapid response team.
Female patients have said they were leery about having a male nurse, but being under Eric's care changed their minds.
A family stated that Eric provided care above and beyond for their 96-year-old Grandmother, compassionate and inspiring!
