I've had the pleasure of working alongside Eric the past year. During this year we have tended to find ourselves in very fast-paced, difficult cases. Recently, I was called in to help bring a coding patient to the OR. The OR was a frenzy, especially since this particular patient had been in the OR for a significant amount of the day already.
Eric helped make the transition from the ICU to OR smooth. He helped with MTP, communicating with ICU, and communicating with the family. Without his coordination and critical thinking skills, I don't think we could have acted as quickly as we did.
I would want Eric as my own nurse if I were involved with an emergency. He is the true definition of a caring nurse and teammate.
