Eric Raynor, BSN, RN

Eric showed us all his compassion with one of our long-term grumpier patients. This patient has been with us for over three months, and he's been ready to go home since day one. Last week, Eric got this patient all cleaned up and showered, and went out to the Healing Garden. You could feel the compassion. The patient was elated. Today was Eric's last shift of the long six-day stretch. Tomorrow is the patient's birthday. Eric stopped after work yesterday and got the patient a new hat and a chocolate cake. Eric is new to Saint Mary's but has compassion, patient-centered care, and a yes-I-can-attitude that has quickly shown. We are so lucky to have him!
